What did we do?

Altair Corp trusted us for the conceptualization and design of their corporate identity.

The project included the design of its logo in all its phases to the creation of a series of support elements, which are described and regulated in its corresponding corporate identity manual.

Origin of the name Altair.

Altair is the brightest star in the constellation Aquila “The Eagle”. The Arabs saw in this constellation a great eagle flying, for that reason they called it “elnars-el-tair”, from which the name Altair was later derived.

Another reference to take into consideration for the name is the Tanabata or Star Festival; which is a Japanese festival in which the meeting between Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair) is celebrated. The Milky Way, which is represented as a river made of stars that cross the sky, separates these lovers, and they are only allowed to see each other once a year, on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar. Taking into account these elements, an ascending star was incorporated as the main element in the composition of the brand.
